FORTUNA, CA

(December, 2001 to May, 2002) We ended up getting a place in Fortuna, about 100 miles south of Crescent City. Our Friend, Gail, that we met in Florida, ended up moving in with us. This is where I decided to produce a Photo CD with Civil War pictures. I put 500 Civil War photos on CD and posted a Dutch Auction on ebay indicating 100 CD's available for $9.95 each with Free Shipping. To our surprise, we sold 47 CD's on that auction. So we began producing WWII CD's, then WWI, then Vietnam and Korea- all Public Domain images with no copyright restrictions. Our Photo CD business took off. Gail helped with the business and then moved to Crescent City with us 6 months later.
